Francis Ngannou took home the heavyweight title after knocking out champion Stipe Miocic in the second round on Saturday at UFC 260.
‘The Predator’ cashed as a -135 favorite and is now on a collision course to face former light heavyweight champ Jon Jones in a fight sometime in the next several months.
While the fight has not been officially announced, sportsbooks have released an early line on the potential clash.
Ngannou is the considerable chalk against Jones, who would be moving up in weight class to fight the new champ.
Jones has been active on social media talking about the potential bout, while Dana White suggested after UFC 260 that Jones would be better off going down to 185 pounds than up to heavyweight.
Jones posted this to his Instagram page, and the 26-1-1 fighter says that he will be seeing a fight proposal next week.
Meanwhile, the new heavyweight champ is cool fighting anyone.
The next few weeks will be telling if the UFC and two fighters can come to terms on a deal.
