WATCH: Fan runs on the field, gets tackled in end zone during Super Bowl LV

Kevin Harlan's call on Westwood One was certainly a memorable one

Even in a stadium with a significantly limited capacity, and in a year with attendance levels at an all-time low due to a raging pandemic, one fan still managed to invade the field during a game. It wasn't just any game, either.

During the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LV, in a shockingly one-sided contest between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, one restless fan decided to jump the fence at Raymond James Stadium — thankfully, with clothes — and run on the field.


Though the CBS broadcast cut away from the incident quickly — though not before a nice line from Jim Nantz — some other footage was uploaded to social media.

It was one of the more intriguing plays of the night during a Chiefs' offensive possession, as the defending Super Bowl champions were held without a touchdown throughout the entirety of the contest. We were close to some amazing plays, but we didn't quite get there.

As expected, social media reacted to the event with various witty remarks and observations:

Westwood One Sports play-by-play man Kevin Harlan has been known for some memorable calls of oddities during NFL games in recent years. Whether it was a fan running on to the field in San Francisco in 2016, or a black cat on the field at MetLife Stadium in 2019, Harlan has not been afraid to spice things up.
