The New England Patriots downgraded offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn to "out" for Saturday night's AFC Wild Card Round game against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.
This means he did not make the trip to Orchard Park. He was the only player downgraded, so that means all of the other questionable players did travel.
So, what does Wynn's absence mean for the offensive line?
It seems like it will be as simple as Justin Herron replacing him at left tackle, and the rest of the line staying the same. This is what happened last Sunday in Miami when Wynn left the game in the first quarter.
Some thought the team might move Trent Brown to the left side and have Mike Onwenu play right tackle, but when asked this week, Brown said he hasn't taken snaps at left tackle since over the summer.
This goes in line with how the Patriots usually think as they don't like to make too many changes if possible. Herron replacing Wynn only changes one position, while if Brown moved to the left side it would impact two, and three including Onwenu's role as the extra blocker.
We won't know for sure until pregame warmups Saturday night, but as of now, it looks like Herron will be protecting Mac Jones' blind side against Buffalo.
