4 Lackawanna County Parks open today for limited uses

In Lackawannan County today, four parks are planning to reopen for limited uses. McDade Park in Scranton, Covington, in Covington Township, Merli Sarnoski in Fell township and Aylesworth in Jermyn. Openings are set for 7am.  Large groups and sports activities are not permitted and restrooms and pavilions will still be closed. Those who use the parks are reminded of social distancing for walking, hiking, biking, fishing and jogging. The Lackawanna County Coal Mine at McDade Park is also still closed.
