Close of business today was when furloughs in the Scranton School District were to begin for over 200 employees. Now an order from a Lackawanna County judge won't allow that to happen for the next 5 days. Those employees are challenging the district's decision made earlier this month which would have included all losing their medical benefits. A preliminary injunction hearing is set for Friday afternoon.
