LARKSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say items belonging to a man being sought in his wife’s slaying last summer were found near still-unidentified human remains over the weekend in northeastern Pennsylvania. The Luzerne County district attorney’s office said Tuesday that a driver’s license belonging to 47-year-old Richard Walski and other personal items were near the badly decomposed remains found Saturday along the Susquehanna River. Prosecutors said confirmation of the identity is “pending further scientific examination” and a cause of death hasn’t been confirmed. Walski was charged with criminal homicide in the shooting death of 38-year-old Patricia Walski, whose body was found Aug. 13 in their Larksville home.
