PennDot has issued a travel advisory due to planned road work on Interstate 80 at Exit 277 which is the exit for the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476).
Due to paving operations on the I-80 ramps, the following detours will be in effect for motorists who wish to enter the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) from Interstate 80 and for motorists who exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Pocono Interchange (Exit 95) and wish to travel Interstate 80 eastbound and westbound.
The following detours will be in effect through May 21.
Motorists wishing to access I-80 West from the PA Turnpike will be detoured on PA 940 West to PA 534 south to I-80 west;
Motorists wishing to access I-80 East from the PA Turnpike will be detoured on PA 940 East to PA 115 south to I-80 east;
Motorists wishing to access the PA Turnpike from Interstate 80 will be detoured at Exit 274 to PA 534 north to PA 940 east to PA Turnpike.
