A deadly shooting in one part of Wilkes Barre is under investigation. Police were called to Schuler Street around 8:30. Those living in the area say they heard shots fired then emergency crews arrived. Two people believed to be a man and woman were taken away in ambulances. According to a release on the Wilkes Barre Police Department Facebook page, a 32 year old man died, a 37 year old woman is still under treatment of a non life threatening injury. The incident was not a random act according to investigators.
