Area School Districts Providing Breakfast and Lunch

School Lunch

In the Scranton School Disrict, bagged breakfast and lunches will be available for students beginning today. Breakfast will be from 7:30 to 9am and Lunch from 11am to 1pm. The meals will be available at the front of all school buildings in the district throughout the duration of the school shut down ordered by Gov Tom Wolf.

Starting Tuesday, 3/17, Abington Heights SD will provide free grab and go meals to any student who wants them. Come by the parking lot on the side of Clarks Summit Elementary School between 11AM and 1PM. Students will receive two bags, one breakfast, one lunch.”

Some schools in Luzerne County also have plans in place to supply breakfast and lunch for students, most beginning today. They include,

Crestwood: 11am to 1pm at the High School and the White Haven Library

Hanover Area: 11 to 11:30am  Entrance to both Stoney Ridge and Dundee apartments, the parking lot at the back of the high school, and the Memorial Elementary school, and the playgrounds of Lee Park and Lynwood elementarys.

Hazleton Area: 11:30am to 1pm at Maple Manor, Heights Terrace and Valley

Lake Lehman: 11am to 1pm at the rear of the Jr/Sr High School there are signs to the pick up area. For those with transportation needs or physical limitation call 570-255-2705.

Wilkes Barre: 11:30am to 1pm  Dodson, Flood, Heights, Kistler, Mackin and Solomon Elementarys and Coughlin (annex) and GAR High Schools

Wyoming Valley West: 11am to 12:30pm beginning 3/17, High school, middle school and State and Dana Street Elementarys.

Other districts are still finalizing plans.
