There could be a coronavirus mass testing site coming to NEPA. Because of the increased growth of cases in the area, state health officials are looking at the possibility of that and a temporary medical center according to State Heath Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine during her daily briefing yesterday. The Governor also cautioned that because the number of cases being reported are slowing it does not mean the virus is yet under control.
There were 70 additional deaths in Pa. due to COVID-19, according to the Pa. Health Department. The total number of deaths across the state is 310, about a 29 % increase from the day prior. There are 16, 239 positive cases, up over 11% from Tuesday. The number of new positive cases has been increasing by lesser percentages the last week.
