Help Wanted: Poll Workers in Luzerne County

Voting

April 28 is the primary election in Pennsylvania and one thing most election officials are echoing is  they need more help. In Luzerne County officials are concerned because the way voters will cast their ballots is changing. Instead of touching the computerized screen a paper printout will be given and that extra step will mean making sure voters leave the ballot in a privacy folder and not walking out with them. If you are interested in becoming a poll worker you'll find information on line at luzernecounty.org. For your day at the polls you'll make between 100 and 150 dollars tax free.
