Luzerne County officials say they will be sending applications for mail in voting ballots to all registered Democrats and Republicans to encourage voting by mail. There still will be in person polls open on primary day, June 2 but they are recommending voters take advantage of the first time no excuse by mail voting has been available. County Manager David Pedri also said finding locations for in person polling places is challenging because many of the places they normally utilize are closed due to the on going pandemic.
