Luzerne County Court officials say the Mohegan Sun Arena provides enough space for jurors to social distance from each other, including witnesses, attorneys, a stenographer and a court clerk. All those attending a trial will be required to wear a mask, except witnesses when they testify.
Now the trial of Robert Collins a former Wilkes-Barre Police Officer is scheduled to start October 19. Lackawanna County Court recently began working to begin jury trials September 8 some at the Scranton Cultural Center.
