Penn Place in Wilkes Barre is expected to open for business as usual today. It had been closed yesterday for cleaning after a Luzerne County judge who spent time there last week, tested positive for COVID-19. Although the Luzerne County Courthouse was not shut down, extensive cleaning was done there over the weekend after a sheriff's deputy reported a positive COVID-19 test on Friday. County officials continue to remind workers and those using the facilities to follow CDC safety guidelines.
