A Scranton Census Caravan will drive through the city tomorrow to promote responses to the 2020 Census. Scranton's Municipal Complete Count Committee along with the US Census Bureau will kick off the caravan at Nay Aug Park around 12:30. The entire rout is listed below. The deadline for the Census is September 30.

Mayor Paige Gebhardt Cognetti announces Census Caravan
Scranton – Mayor Paige Gebhardt Cognetti announced a Scranton Census Caravan through the City scheduled for Friday September 18, 2020.
Scranton’s Municipal Complete Count Committee along with the U.S. Census Bureau will drive through the City on Friday to promote responses to the 2020 Census ahead of the September 30 deadline.
The caravan will kick off at Nay Aug Park at 1230PM and drive through the City’s South and West Sides before concluding downtown at City Hall.
“It is not too late to respond to the 2020 Census. Filling out the census in these final weeks is your chance to stand up and be counted in our community. The Census numbers help allocate $2,000 in funding per person per year. Taking ten minutes to respond will impact Scranton’s funding and representation for the next ten years. Please respond today.” said Mayor Cognetti.
Residents can respond to the 2020 Census online at my2020census.gov or by calling 844-330-2020. Questionnaire Assistance Centers will be available Friday for residents who may need assistance completing the census.
