The Wyoming Valley Mall has announced it will reopen to the public at 11 o'clock Friday morning, the same day Luzerne County moves into the green phase of the state's reopening plan..In addition J.C. Penney, one of the mall's two anchor stores, will open today at noon. The other anchor store, Macy's, reopened June 8. Those stores can open because they have entrances from the outside.The mall will open under reduced hours, for now. It will be open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-6 p.m. on Sundays. In the green phase, retail businesses are can open but must cap occupancy at 50% of normal capacity.
