After the call with Rafael Alvarez Febo, I'll be honest, I was a bit surprised by the amount of negative messages. Going into the call, I knew there'd be negative messages. Hell, I've received nasty texts after talking about my three year old. Negative messages don't bother me. In many ways they fuel me.This was a different kind of response. I was taken aback by the volume of text messages combined with the overwhelming amount of disappointment, anger and disgust over my decision to have a conversation about this LGBQT issue.
