Paul Anka is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, and actor who catapulted to global fame as a 1950s teen heartthrob with massive hits like "Diana," "Lonely Boy," and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder." Born in Ottawa in 1941, he quickly proved to be far more than a fleeting pop star, carving out a legendary multi-decade career as both a Las Vegas headliner and one of popular music's most prolific songwriters. Beyond his own hits, Anka holds a staggering songwriting legacy that includes writing the English lyrics for Frank Sinatra's iconic signature song "My Way," Tom Jones's "She's a Lady," the classic Johnny Carson Tonight Show theme, and co-writing Michael Jackson's posthumous hit "This Is It."

For the Paul Anka Contest, LISTEN TO WILK on weekdays from 10/19/26 to 10/23/26 during The Bob Cordaro Show between 9:00am and 12:00pm for the announcement on how to win the Paul Anka Contest, then follow the instructions. Then dial 570-883-0098 during the designated time for a chance to participate in the contest. Up to five (5) winners will be selected throughout the duration of this contest, and upon verification of eligibility; winners will receive two (2) digital tickets to see Paul Anka on Sunday, 11/8/26 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701. Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires for the winner(s) (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, MLB, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to login into an existing user account or to sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including at a minimum first name, last name, and valid email address.
