NEPA native and Hollywood actress Pat Crowley dies at 91

OLYPHANT, PA – Pat Crowley, a prolific actress with a career spanning seven decades and known for her roles in hit television series like “Dynasty” and “Port Charles,” has passed away at the age of 91. According to a report by Parade, Crowley died of natural causes in Los Angeles just days before her 92nd birthday.

A native of Olyphant, Crowley began her career in the 1950s, quickly becoming a familiar face on television screens. She made notable appearances in classic shows such as “77 Sunset Strip,” “Mr. Kildare,” and “The Twilight Zone.” Her most recognized role from this era was as Joan Nash in the sitcom “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies,” which aired from 1965 to 1967.

Crowley’s career continued to flourish throughout the latter half of the 20th century. She was a regular presence on many of television's most iconic programs, including “Columbo,” “Police Story,” “Happy Days,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Charlie’s Angels,” and “The Love Boat.” Her enduring career and versatility made her a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
