A search warrant recently unsealed in Lackawanna County has more information on a burglary ring that operated for decades, announced last week. It showed some 200 antique guns among other items, were found in a home, but did not detail if they were some of those taken in the heists that netted multi million dollars in items. A search of the home of Daryl Rinker in Thornhurst Township was done in August 2019. He will appear in Federal Court one week from today. US Attorney Gerard Karam announced indictments against Rinker and four others who are expected to plead guilty. Four other men indicted in the case face charges of conspiracy to commit theft of major artwork and other charges. One of those men, Nicholas Dombek of Thornhurst Township, is still being sought.
