3 Senior Judges to oversee lawsuit regarding McGloin seat in Lackawanna County

Three senior judges in Lackawanna County will be presiding over the lawsuit filed by the county and Commissioner Bill Gaughan in the process to appoint a successor to Matt McGloin. Senior Judges Minora, Mazzoni and Geroulo will hear arguments and rule on issues in the case. At issue is whether the Democratic Party Executive Committee should submit the final 3 candidates to the court for appointment, or if the court will directly interview applicants and decide on a nominee without input from the Committee.
