A mixed bag of winter weather is on the move through Northeast Pa. Anywhere from a few inches of snow in the valley cities, to 6 inches in the northern tier are expected before a possible changeover to sleet and freezing rain Monday morning. Check out the WNEP StormTracker 16 forecast.

PennDOT says all interstates in the region are under a Tier 2 restriction which bans the following vehicles:

Tractors without trailers

Tractors towing unloaded or lightly loaded enclosed trailers, open trailers or tank trailers

Tractors towing loaded tandem trailers unless there are chains or another approved Alternate Traction device on board

Enclosed cargo delivery trucks that meet the definition of a commercial motor vehicle

Passenger vehicles that tow trailers

Recreational vehicles and motor homes

School buses, commercial buses and motor coaches and motorcycles

There will also be a 45 mph restriction with commercial vehicles in the right lane only on Interstates 81, 80, 84 and 380.
