An arrest was made yesterday in connection with a murder in Luzerne county earlier this month. Police in Kingston charged 31-year-old Walter Zolner with criminal homicide in the death of his 22-year-old next door neighbor Ryan Padovani on May 5th. Zolnar had been arrested last Friday on drug charges following a raid at his house on East Bennett Street. According to Luzerne County District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce, search warrants produced a crowbar consistent with the weapon believed to have been used in the killing. Investigators say evidence also included a journal in which Zolner admitted to the murder and YouTube videos where he said he was possessed by a demon and was looking for an exorcist. A large cache of weapons were also found which led investigators to believe he may have been planning a larger attack. . Zolner is now in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility where he remains without bail.
