State Police in Wayne County are investigating an accidental death. Law enforcement responded to a home in Texas Township for an altercation between an adult male and female on Sunday . A neighbor, who witnessed the altercation, reported that Brandon Lee Duclos was physically assaulting a pregnant woman. Upon the Pennsylvania State Police arrival, Duclos allegedly leapt out of a second-story window and escape on foot to the rear of the property before jumping into the Lackawaxen River. Police say they saw him in the river briefly before he went under. Search and Rescue Teams conducted an extensive search but were unable to locate him. Duclos’s remains were eventually located and recovered from the river. The investigation continues.
