MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP., PA — A 42-year-old man remains held without bail following an early Sunday morning shooting that left an adult male injured in Monroe County.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Anthony Graham with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and related offenses in connection with the incident along Milford Road in Middle Smithfield Township. Emergency personnel were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators stated that the victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. State police have not yet released details regarding a possible motive or the events leading up to the gunfire.
Graham was formally arraigned and denied bail. He was remanded to the Monroe County Correctional Facility while awaiting a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for Oct. 14.
