Luzerne County election officials say voters in the upcoming May 16th primary election will return to paper ballots. The plan was given to the county's 5 citizen Election Board by Election Director Eryn Harvey. She said they received positive feedback from voters when they were used in the state senate special election back in January. After discussion and a vote, 4 out of 5 voted for the plan. After the meeting, a decision has not yet been made if voters will use paper or electronic poll books to sign at polling places. Also, a drop box may be in place for the primary at Wright Manor assisted living facility in Mountain Top, if the site meets all requirements.
