Prosecutors say Monroe was a "direct support professional" working the night shift at a Butler Twp. group home and one night last November, he left his patients. A day shift worker the next morning found one of the residents injured in a fall and bleeding. Monroe remains free on $5,000 bail pending sentencing in July.
