Two Luzerne County women charged in horrific abuse case involving 11 year old girl

Two Luzerne County women are behind bars after being charged with the abuse of an 11 year old girl.  Criminal complaints brought this week by county detectives against the child's mother, Amanda Gregorio, and "nana," Stacey Louder, alleging months of abuse and neglect that came to an end late last year when — battered, bruised and just 50 pounds, the girl, now 12, was removed by county Children & Youth from the Exeter home at Birchwood Village Estates. Investigators say Gregorio and Louder tormented the girl and they face several charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangering and child endangerment. They were both jailed in lieu of $125,000 bail. Preliminary hearings are scheduled May 6.
