The cleanup continues on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County where a multi vehicle crash left 3 people dead and an estimated 20 people taken to hospitals. It’s believed a fast moving snowsquall is to blame for the massive pileup. It happened on I-81 northbound Monday morning and shut down all lanes near exit 116, the Minersville exit in Foster Township. Emergency crews had their hands full during the rescue and it could take hours for all the wreckage to be cleared and the road re-opened. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deadly pileup.
