During a Wednesday township meeting, officials focused on appointing an interim supervisor following a recent board resignation, while the timeline for evaluating the massive project continues to move forward.
The proposal calls for a 20-building data center campus with on-site power generation situated on a sprawling 682-acre plot of land. Local officials have scheduled a public hearing on August 3 at the Wayne County Park Street Complex in Honesdale to present official project plans, followed by a second public hearing on August 17 to gather community input before supervisors render their final decision.
