WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP — The Luzerne County Coroner has identified the man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday morning. Adam Shaw, 29, of Plymouth, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the Highland Park Boulevard exit for I-81 South.
The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. and prompted Wilkes-Barre Township Police to shut down the Exit 168 Highland Park Boulevard/Wilkes-Barre ramps for I-81 North and South for several hours while emergency crews investigated the scene. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
