Investigators have released the identities of the couple involved in a deadly shooting in Luzerne County. Police say Carrie Boneforte was shot and killed by her husband, Scott Richards, at their home on East Union Street in Nanticoke around 8:30 p.m. Monday. According to court paperwork, officers found Richards lying in a pool of blood inside the home. Police believe he shot himself in the head but was still breathing when they found him. Officers say Richards was taken to the hospital, where he died Tuesday.
