Deadly shooting following large brawl in Scranton

A shooting in North Scranton has left one man dead, and several people are now in custody. Police were called out to the intersection of Ravine St and Providence Road around 8 last night for a report of gunshots. That after reports of a large brawl involving 20 people in the area of Weston Field, Many in the group fled to a home on North Main Ave, where several were arrested.  A state police helicopter circled the neighborhood. Lackawanna County Coroner Tim Rowland confirmed one man was pronounced dead in the emergency room at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
