Dickson City councilman killed in Lackawanna County crash

A Dickson City councilman died Sunday night in a wreck in South Abington Township. According to reports, 69 year old Michael Fedorka, 69, was fatally injured in a crash along the 700 block of North State Street just after 8 pm. Fedorka and another vehicle collided head-on along the busy state road, police said. Fedorka died less than an hour later at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. The other driver, a 58-year-old man from Scranton, was seriously injured and remains hospitalized.
