Electronic devices banned in the Scranton School District

A new policy has been announced by the Scranton School district. When students return to classes they will no longer be allowed to have electronic devices in school. District officials cited safety and security concerns behind the action. It includes any electronic device from a cellphone to smartwatches and tablets and all others. If a device is brought into a building it must remain in a student's locker or for elementary school students, in their backpack.
