YORK, PA – A community in mourning prepares to say a final goodbye to three of its heroes. A funeral service will be held on Thursday for the three York County law enforcement officers who were shot and killed in the line of duty last week while serving a warrant.

Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, Detective Mark Baker, and Detective Isaiah Emenheiser were killed last Wednesday, September 17, while serving a warrant related to a domestic violence case in North Codorus Township. The officers were members of a specialized unit and were highly respected within the department and the community.

The departments confirmed that all viewings and burials will be private, limited to family and designated individuals. The decision was made to allow the families to grieve in privacy and to ensure the safety and security of all attendees.

The loss has sent a ripple of grief throughout the community and the nation's law enforcement agencies. These three officers are remembered as dedicated public servants who made the ultimate sacrifice in their commitment to protecting others.
