Just one day after hosting a visit from Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, fire crews were called out to a small fire at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant along Cedar Avenue in South Scranton just after 10 a.m. Monday morning. Officials say the fire started in a press machine in the forge building, sending smoke throughout the plant. Employees were evacuated while crews put out the flames. No one was injured.
