A destructive fire tore through and destroyed a home in the Forest Hills Acres development of Hazle Township early Tuesday morning. First responders were called to the scene just after 1 a.m. While the house was lost to the blaze, fire crews confirmed that everyone inside the home made it out safely, and no firefighters were injured during the operation. Although the official cause of the fire remains under investigation, fire officials have indicated that they believe the fire originated on the back porch of the residence.
