Scranton Police identified a 17-year-old Crips gang member as a suspect in Tuesday night's deadly shooting. Investigators say they believe Kenneth Tapia, reportedly a member of the Crips, shot Robert Dawson during a large fight around 8 p.m. near Weston Field. Dawson later died at Geisinger Community Medical Center. Tapia faces charges of rioting, aggravated assault, and simple assault. He was denied bail at a preliminary arraignment early Tuesday. Additional charges are expected. Police also filed charges against Keenan Ford, 18, and charged him with assaulting Dawson and later lying to the police. Scranton Police have arrested 3 other juveniles connected to Tuesday night's shooting.
