Health care workers at Geisinger CMC Hospital in Scranton took to the picket lines on Monday. Workers there are calling for improved staffing ratios, competitive wages and fair treatment. The health care workers representing four bargaining units affiliated with the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals union marched in the 1800 block of Mulberry Street. The health workers were joined on the picket line by Congressman Matt Cartwright, state Sen. Marty Flynn and state Rep. Kyle Mullins for a noon rally outside Geisinger CMC.
