Guilty plea in deadly Luzerne County DUI crash

A Hanover Township man charged with vehicular homicide for the drunken driving crash that claimed the life of a 19-year-old Newport Township woman pleaded guilty in Luzerne County Court. PSP charged 20 year old Tyler Mizell after investigating the crash that killed Kaycee Kreitzer, of Glen Lyon, last June. She was a passenger in Mizell’s vehicle when it crashed into an embankment at Nevel Hollow Road and Hunlock-Harveyville Road in Union Township. Court officials say Mizell will be sentenced in April. He remains jailed at the Luzerne County Prison.
