Guilty plea in Luzerne County road rage incident

A Lackawanna County man entered a guilty plea stemming from a road rage incident. Erik Viquez of Scranton pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault on Monday. Authorities say Viquez was driving on the Cross Valley Expressway near Kingston in January 2023 when another car tried to pass him on the exit. Viquez pulled out a gun and shot at the other car with four people inside. No one was hit.
