A search earlier this week in the Old Forge area turned up human remains. Investigators searched near Pagnotti Park off Connell Street as part of the investigation into Robert Baron’s disappearance. Lackawanna County District Attorney Mark Powell says his office is now awaiting DNA testing to determine if they are that of Robert Baron. Baron, the owner of Ghigiarelli's Restaurant on Main Street in Old Forge, has been missing since 2017.
