Olyphant police say they confiscated fireworks being housed in a building on West Lackawanna Avenue Monday morning. Officials report a door was open at the building and they could clearly see alot of fireworks. That building is where the former Sullum's of Olyphant bridal dress shop was located. Cops got a search warrant and end up removing hundreds of pounds of fireworks which they say were stored illegally. No word on what charges may be filed against the owner of the building. Cops say she did not have a license to sell or store the fireworks.
