There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound from Exit 155 (Dorrance) to Exit 159 (Nuangola) in Luzerne County for bridge inspections. Work will take place today from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
Beginning tomorrow, the Harris Hill Road Bridge in Kingston Township will be closed until further notice. It's due to a recent inspection of the span over Toby Creek near Harris Hill Road and Route 309 which showed, according to the Luzerne County Engineering office, deterioration. A detour will be in place. The span is due to be replaced next year.
