UPDATE- PennDOT says I-81 Southbound is now open. -81 Northbound will now reopen at 12:30pm.
Icy roads in NEPA caused Interstate 81 to shutdown this morning in both directions between Exit 206 Glenwood/Lenoxville and Exit 211 in Lenox. Clifford Township Volunteer Fire Company reports at least 7 tractor-trailers and multiple other vehicles lost control on icy roads after snow squalls moved through the region this morning. PennDot reports that 81 southbound in that area is now open, and northbound is expected to open at 12:30pm. No word on whether there are any injuries.
