A fire destroyed a Scranton home Monday night that was used by a charitable organization to help the community. Smoke filled the sky around the double block home on the 1200 block of Linden Street around 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
There were no injuries in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
The group Friends of the Poor used the home for their “ Clothes Line for Men” program, which provided outfits for men in need. If you wish to help out the charity organization Friends of the Poor you can donate to them online.
