A Luzerne County Judge has ruled an application for a projected planned for Wilkes Barre Township was wrongfully denied. Bluecup Ventures had proposed building a 50 million dollar distribution center on mine scarred land off Johnson Street along Interstate 81. It was denied by Wilkes Barre Township Council last November and Bluecup Ventures appealed. Last week, Luzerne County Judge Fred Piertoni the third said council committed an "error of law" and reversed the decision. Township council will discuss the matter, including if they will appeal the judges ruling, when they meet next month.
