On Tuesday, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education announced its decision to withdraw accreditation from Keystone College. School officials told its students, faculty and staff that it disagreed with the decision and will maintain accreditation through an appeal process, which is expected to extend into the spring. Schools without accreditation lose access to federal funding and can't provide financial aid to students.
