Lack. Co. man sentenced to prison for abusing toddler

A Lackawanna County man will spend 5 to 11 years in state prison for fracturing the ribs of a toddler. 20 year old Kassius Grant of Carbondale was sentenced yesterday in Lackawanna County Court. It happened back in March while he was babysitting the child. He told police he shoved the toddler and the child struck his face on the crib. Grant pleaded guilty back in August to among others, charges of aggravated assault in the case. The child is continuing to recover.
